Afia Clinics is raising funds to supply HIV/Malaria tests to rural communities to provide necessary Every dollar buys 1 more kit for a person in need.
I have been volunteering in Keta, Ghana for the past couple of months at a rural clinic run by Afia Clinics. Due to a national shortage of HIV testing and Malaria medicine in Ghana, the rates have dramatically risen in rural communities. To combat this, Afia Clinics is starting an outreach program that will supply rapid testing to these communities to provide necessary health screenings that would
not be accessible otherwise. We are currently raising funds for this program with an ultimate goal of $2000. One kit only costs $1, which would provide us with 1000 HIV and 1000 malaria kits, enough supplies to canvas the rural villages surrounding the clinic. For all of you who have supported me along this journey as well as those who haven't had the opportunity to support the cause, this is an effective way for you to become involved and make a difference! Please donate as little as $10 to our campaign and "share" it with your other friends!
