Snoflies preseason general meeting will be held at the Carman Legion, Tuesday Oct 24 @ 7:30 PM. There will be lots to talk about for the upcoming season. All members are encouraged to come, as well as take any friend, family member or colleague who may be interested in joining our club. Hope to see you there.

1 week until the poker derby. Spread the word, grab a friend and come on down to Carman for a chance at winning some of these great prizes rolling in from some of our amazing sponsors. 1st place is $1500 2nd is $1000 & 3rd is $500.

An update on where we are. Our groomer is still down waiting on parts, but should be ready to go early in the new year. We started signing yesterday and will continue all week. We need volunteers to help get them done. Without the trails signed we can not groom. If you are able to help contact Todd Swaving @ 2o4 751 o636. Any help is appreciated.

One of our club members came across this hazard on our trails over the weekend. We work hard to provide safe snowmobiling for everyone, however things like this are outside of our control. We would like to remind everyone to ride safe as trail conditions can change quickly - in this case only 1 or 2 days after grooming. This snow pile on the trail has been cautioned and will be cleaned up later this week.

Good afternoon fellow riders. A little nicer day out there today to do some final touches to another section of trail, getting us a step closer to opening. Trail 21 out of Carman heading west to Roseisle and then the 100 south to Miami and Morden will all be open tomorrow. A big shout out to all those volunteering to help make this happen as well as to our dedicated groomer. Have a great day

Good evening sledders. For those wondering why more of our trails haven't opened yet, here's a bit of an update. It's been cold and stormy, but we've been out packing and signing trails and we'd like to say thanks to all the volunteers for the hard work out in the cold. We've had several issues with the groomer relating to the cold weather which has been slowing us down a bit. For those familiar with where our trails run and want to get a ride in before the trails open, head on out there and help out packing the trail base. Instead of riding single file, ride in a staggered formation to help widen the base. Watch for hazards as they may not be marked yet.
