We would like to extend a warm welcome to the newest member of our team, Georgia Hylton who started with us on a full time basis recently. She ran her first event for us last night for a private screening of the England v Denmark match in London, which was a great networking event for our client. We look forward to many more adventures together - the next few months are really busy!
We are going global at the moment with an incredibly busy summer coming up! We are arranging events for with clients to wow their top clients for a full weekend of hospitality to three Grand Prix - Austrian, British and Singapore races! We also have luxurious travel incentives taking place in the South of France, dual city destination in Thailand, Dublin and proposals being written for a number of other European destinations as well as many UK based events!
Summer is only around the corner, so it's time to think about arranging a summer party for your team!
Here's a to a corporate summer day out we ran at the stunning Oakley Court hotel in Windsor a few years ago.
The guests took part in dragon boat racing on the River Thames and had a fun afternoon of activities including giant games, tennis, golf, inflatables, massages and nail treatments all with a BBQ, bar and ice cream.

It was fantastic to arrange an important dinner event for one of our clients at The Ivy Manchester last week.
This renowned restaurant has fantastic private dining rooms and skylight garden terraces for networking and drinks receptions and is the perfect way to treat your clients to a night of hospitality with great food and service.

It's National Pie Day! Here's a throwback to when we booked the wonderful London Pie & Mash Company for one of our IT client's summer events.
Located on the office lawns by the river with Beetle Juice cocktail bar, fairground stalls and bucking bronco! The staff loved being able to leave their desks for some lunch, cocktails and fun in the sun for a couple of hours!
It’s International Women’s day - we are proud to have three creative women on our management team - Leigh, Georgia and Sammie!
It's throwback Thursday! Salle des Etoiles is an old favourite venue of ours in Monaco! We've hired this world famous venue several times for conferences and award dinners. This is one of our favourite set-ups - beautiful silver and white theme with gorgeous candlelit table centres, "Panoramic" bespoke signage to match the client's event theme and a roof that literally disappears to dine under the stars!
It was great to go along to yesterday to and keep up with the latest industry trends!
It's always fantastic to catch up with long-time suppliers and meet lots of new prospective venues and event suppliers from all over the industry! We have taken away so many great ideas for theming, signage and entertainment for our bursting diary of events!
Our diary is rapidly filling up with an amazing range of events this year including conferences, travel incentives, several worldwide Grand Prix weekends, Private Euros parties, executive & awards dinners, summer and Christmas parties - and we are still in February!

The Euros are taking place this summer and it's an excellent opportunity to treat your clients and staff to a fun, informal night out. We have held many such events in the past and can recommend football clubs and sports bars to hire, celebrity guest speakers and refreshments to keep your guests fed and watered all night.
England's first few matches are:
Sunday 16th June v Serbia - 8pm kick off
Thursday 20th June v Denmark - 5pm kick off - A GREAT DATE & TIME!
Tuesday 25th June v Slovenia - 8pm kick off
Both the Denmark and Slovenia matches are during the week and would be great nights to arrange a Euro night!
Here's the last one we arranged during the World Cup at the brand new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with guest speaker David James!
It's Leigh's 10th anniversary at Effective Business Events! During that time she has travelled across the desert sand dunes in Dubai, viewed New York from the top of the Empire state building and run incentives and conferences in Vienna, Monaco, Malaga, Athens, Venice, Tenerife, Budapest, Sorrento, Sardinia, Lisbon, Krakow to name a few and been up and down the UK! She's arranged meetings, dinners, outdoor parties, team building, awards dinners, conferences, product launches, football and so many more wonderful events.
It's been an amazing 10 years so far with many more exciting events to come!
This is a Throwback to her very first EBE event....when we exclusively booked AquaShard and view from the Shard at the newly opened state-of-the-art Shard in London back in February 2014.
When venue searching, we are often asked to find easily accessible yet interesting venues that will encourage guests attendance.
Wembley Stadium recently was a fantastic venue - with a variety of conference rooms to choose with executive boxes overlooking the pitch for breakouts, it certainly ticked all the boxes!
Guests were also able to take a stadium tour including seeing the dressing rooms and touch the hallowed turf!
Small intimate corporate dinners are an excellent way to network, engage with and communicate to your top partners and clients.
Many restaurants have impressive private dining rooms, especially in London, Manchester and major cities and many of them offer screens for presentations. From bright and airy garden themed rooms to underground secret vaults - we know a wide variety of venues.

The British Motor Museum in Gaydon is today's venue for our client's IT conference. Centrally located for easy access and guests can take a tour round the museum after they have finished!
York is the venue for today's event IT partner event for all the guests based in the north of England - a fabulous city rich in history for your guests to visit after their conference!
We are currently busy writing proposals and planning events for the full year ahead! Last week we took site visits to the amazing Thailand plus Manchester and London.
Happy New Year! We are certainly very busy with proposals and site visits since we got back to the office from the Christmas break, but we were delighted to accept an invitation from one of our amazing catering suppliers, KERB Events to go to see the festive lights at Kew Gardens and celebrate the new year. We explored the beautiful festive lights in the gardens and tasted the wide variety of amazing food all provided by Kerb - from luxury hot chocolates, mulled wine, warm donuts, gourmet burgers and jerk chicken (what more could you ask for!!)
We really have finished off our 30th year in style following an incredibly busy year at EBE.
We’ve held travel incentives, conferences, Grand Prix hospitality weekends, race days, golf days, shooting days, team building events, anniversary parties, Christmas parties, VIP hospitality…..
We’ve hired Lancaster House and hosted royalty and politicians, Churchill War Rooms, beaches, cinemas, vinyards, hotels, restaurants, race courses, former factories, farmhouses….
We booked, flights, helicopters, branded coaches, paddleboards, VIP boats, rafts, RIBS, limos, trains, celebrities, florists, chefs, tour guides, hot tubs, magicians, dancers, bands, badge registration systems, exhibition stands, lighting, stage designers, caterers, street food trucks………and those are only some of the huge range of events we’ve run - here is a snapshot in under 60 seconds!

As always we have been all around the UK and Europe and loved every minute of it but we could not have done this without you, our loyal clients. Thank you so much for putting your faith in us again to organise and run these special events, we really do appreciate it.

Effective Business Events recently turned 30 years old! It's been quite a journey organising literally thousands of events for many clients over the years.
To celebrate our anniversary at the end of another exceptionally busy year, the management team took a trip to Budapest last week to wander around the Christmas markets, crack open the champagne and have a lovely couple of days away. We love arranging events for everyone else but sometimes it's lovely to be the guests!
We really look forward to the next 30 years and thank all our clients and suppliers over the years for your support!
We love the festive season here at EBE! We held a fabulous Christmas party last week at Sea Containers in London for one of our clients.
Shhhh.... someone has a big birthday today! Happy birthday to the founder and Director of Effective Business Events - Neil!
And this means one thing - that the company is very

The festive season has started! We kicked off with a small client dinner at the Duck & Waffle with stunning city views of the London skyline last Thursday.

It's never quiet in the EBE office! Whilst our busy run of travel incentives and conferences in September and October have come to an end, we are busy putting the final preparations to our Christmas parties!
It's also planning season for next year and we are busily arranging site visits for a variety of proposed destinations for events next year including Majorca, Bengaluru, Cannes, Thailand, London, Norfolk, Montreaux, Marbella, Prague...and some others that are so top secret we have to keep them under our (Christmas!) hat!
It was a pleasure to partner Pure Storage to run their Accelerate 2023 conference at Woolwich Works in London last Tuesday to enable them to communicate with their sponsors, partners and clients. We assisted with all the arrangements for the day including venue branding, AV & set design, registration badge system, catering, exhibition pods, marquee, decor, furniture hire and entertainment. There was a great atmosphere at the venue with several keynotes and breakout sessions. The closing keynote was held with the fantastic Professor Brian Cox, followed by an 80's themed after party with legendary Spandau Ballet star Martin Kemp. We absolutely love running events like this with so many elements to organise!
We recently ran two back-to-back travel incentives on the beautiful island of Sardinia. This amazing trip rewards our client's top employees and incentivises them to generate revenue during the year ahead! We stayed at the five star Poltu Quatu resort with boat trips, water sports including snorkelling and paddle boarding, a wine tasting experience, trek along the Emerald Coast, visits to local beach clubs with a variety of dining options, all finished with a white party at a beach club!
This trip has proved year on year to be a great ROI as the employees work as hard as they can to earn their place each year!
We were proud to work with Jabra to assist with the organisation of their AV conference in London last week!
30 Euston Square proved a very popular venue, centrally located next to Euston Station, plenty of opportunities for branding with top quality catering from Searcey's. With great feedback from all attendees it was a great success!
We were incredibly privileged to partner a client to host a 70th Anniversary high tea at the prestigious Lancaster House in London. With foreign royalty, Government ministers plus many other VIP guests, it was a beautiful occasion in a stunning location and we are so honoured to have assisted with the organisation and running of the day.
We always take health and safety seriously at our events and last week it was time to take a refresher course to brush up on our skills. We had a first aid trainer come to the office to re-train in CPR, defibrillators, cuts, sprains etc. So far we've never needed to use this training and we hope we never will, but at least you can be rest assured you are in safe hands!
