sometimes yarn doesn't cooperate. it just doesn't.

I got this gorgeous and was planning to do fingerless gloves with it. but it doesn't want to - started about three different patterns that I've used for fingerless gloves and just wasn't liking the way it was working up - then I took another look at the colors that I had in front of me - and decided this needs to be a slouchy witch hat - and tada 🎉 it's now working up absolutely beautifully 💜

can't wait to see this progress - the slouchy witch hat pattern by .entangled.fae is one of my favorites

this morning I'm watching this video on adding strength to a crochet bag - and I'm definitely going to try the first trick to add a piece of twill tape to the strap as you are crocheting it - I tend to just avoid longer straps as they always stretch, but this looks like it'll work well
