GSW Photography
I am an amateur photographer based in Sussex, United Kingdom. I have a passion for travel and photography, and love to combine the two.
Beautiful Mammatus clouds lit by the setting sun, taken outside of Lubbock, Texas
A gorgeous CG striking at the end of the road, taken outside of Walsh, Colorado
A stunningly structured supercell outside of Seminole, Texas.
Been quiet for a while, not really got the camera out much. But just back from 10 days chasing tornadoes in the US, so expect to see more pics over the next few days!
Finally a decent storm in Horsham! There is a joke amongst Sussex based storm chasers that there is a "storm shield" over Horsham, in that most storms seem to avoid us. Last night the storm shield was obviously broken, as we had a spectacular show - over an hour of thunder and lightning, all of which I watched and tried to photograph 😀
Blue Ice
A stunning blue iceberg in the glacier lagoon Jökulsárlón.
Iceland is an amazing country, can't visit it enough!

Seljalandsfoss in southern Iceland. A 60m drop waterfall that you can walk behind. Getting an image without spray all over the lens was a challenge 🙂
One of my favourite places in Iceland - Kirkjufell mountain with Kirkjufellsfoss in the foreground.
Claimed to be the most photographed mountain in Iceland, it appeared in seasons 6 and 7 of Game of Thrones, as "arrowhead mountain" that the Hound and the company north of the Wall see when capturing a white walker.
My first day in Iceland in summer, so incredibly different landscape to winter. I love the leading lines of this picture, drawing your eye to the horizon.
Yellow into Blue
There are many stunning waterfalls throughout Iceland, but this one, Gluggafoss, has to be one of my favourites. The water has created holes, or "windows", in the rock, the Icelandic for windows being Gluggar, hence Gluggafoss.
Sky Blue
The stunning Brúarfoss waterfall in Iceland, reflected in a glass orb.
Eruption
Honestly one of the most incredible experiences of my life.
To give you an idea of scale, if you zoom into the top of the hill in the foreground, there is a helicopter.
