My goal in the past few years has been to transition our family to 100% organic living. Mixes made by Bisquick, Hungry Jack, Krusteaz, Betty Crocker, and other popular brands are filled with dreadful ingredients.
The main ingredient is “Enriched Bleached Flour”...
This flour is refined, and they discard the vitamins, minerals, and fiber, leaving a white powdery product devoid of any life. It’s dead food. ☠️
So they “enrich” it back to life by adding in SYNTHETIC vitamins and minerals, which are not the same as real food.
The next part is even worse.
Manufacturers use chlorine (bleach) to remove the smell and change the color. The flour is put into a gas chamber and treated with chlorine dioxide which leeches all the vitamin E out of the flour and leaves a chemical called dichlorostearic acid that remains in the flour.
When wheat is not organic, it can be sprayed with Roundup weedkiller pre-harvest and residues can remain in the flour too. The active ingredient in Roundup, glyphosate, is linked to cancer.
And that’s just the flour! Read the ingredients on your baking mixes, and beware of artificial dyes and preservatives.
Some better brands are Arrowhead Mills, Bob’s Red Mill (organic versions), Birch Benders (organic versions), and Simple Mills. You can find these brands in natural food grocery stores and online.

What you take Aim at matters.
The media directs peoples aim.
It’s unreal how easy it is to manipulate the masses.
Why are they so easily manipulated?
Most people aren’t taught to critically think.
They wake up as kids, told to do this or that by their parents.
Then go to school. Told to do this and that by their teachers.
Then get a job. Told to do this or that by their boss.
Then go to college. More of the same.
Then get a ‘real’ job. More of the same.
No where are kids actually taught how to critically evaluate things or think.
Honestly, it’s why so many doctors suck.
Medical school is just a massive amount of memorization. Seriously. It’s A+B requires C. It’s why so many doctors follow the narrative. They do not think.
Key point: Recall is not thinking. It’s remembering what factoids you memorized.
Thinking is true evaluation of a situation using your own cognitive skills. It’s not recall.
We must teach ourselves and our kids how to think. You have to learn self or through great parenting.
I had parents that pushed me to critically think.
I also traveled SE Asia and South Pacific on a shoestring for an entire year. Traveling solo is an incredible opportunity which teaches you how to think critically FAST. If you don’t, you’re in trouble.
Parents: We must teach our kids how to THINK. Getting ‘good grades’ in school only means your kids followed instructions well. That’s great. But it’s not what’s important.
More than ever, our kids need us.
Learn to think. Then teach it.
I teach you how to think. My courses and genetic test are different from others. Why? Because I don’t provide ‘answers’. I provide maps and pathways. Then you determine what steps you take.
Bottom line: Don’t take Aim on something that someone told you to.
Think.
Thinking is Freedom.

It’s time we teach our children about what’s really in a Chicken McNugget. It saddens me that this has become a staple in so many family’s diets.
Instead of buying frozen nuggets or hitting up the McDonald’s drive-thru - it’s a zillion times healthier to bake homemade chicken “nuggets” at home. You don’t even need to bread them, or you can use almond flour and seasonings. Then serve them with a dip for your child - which makes them fun to eat, like Primal Kitchen ketchup (no added sugar!) or homemade honey mustard.
You can bake up a big batch of chicken nuggets and freeze them so they are handy for those times when you are extra busy… just pull them out of the freezer and heat them back up in the oven (or toaster oven).

How much sugar do you put in your coffee? If you use creamers like Coffee-Mate, you could easily be drinking 2-3 teaspoons of sugar per cup… besides nasty additives like carrageenan and artificial flavors.
It’s even WORSE if you get lattes from coffee shops like Starbucks and Dutch Bros….as some of their drinks are packed with over 14 teaspoons of sugar. (See in the comments below!)
Drinking all this sugar first thing in the morning (or any time of the day) is a disaster for your metabolism, health, and immune system.
Replacing sugar with “sugar-free” alternatives filled with Artificial Sweeteners doesn’t solve the problem because these additives have been shown to increase sugar cravings and actually promote weight gain.
Getting rid of processed sugar and artificial sweeteners is one of the best commitments you can make to yourself in the New Year.

In our society, magnesium deficiency is a huge problem. By conservative standards of measurement (blood, or serum, magnesium levels), 65 percent of people admitted to the intensive care unit — and about 15 percent of the general population — have magnesium deficiency.
But this seriously underestimates the problem, because a serum magnesium level is the LEAST sensitive way to detect a drop in your total body magnesium level. So rates of magnesium deficiency could be even higher!
The reason we are so deficient is simple: Many of us eat a diet that contains practically no magnesium — a highly-processed, refined diet that is based mostly on white flour, meat, and dairy (all of which have no magnesium).
When was the last time you had a good dose of sea vegetables (seaweed), nuts, greens, and beans? If you are like most Americans, your nut consumption mostly comes from peanut butter, and mostly in chocolate peanut butter cups.
Much of modern life conspires to help us lose what little magnesium we do get in our diet. Magnesium levels are decreased by excess alcohol, salt, coffee, phosphoric acid in colas, profuse sweating, prolonged or intense stress, chronic diarrhea, excessive menstruation, diuretics (water pills), antibiotics and other drugs, and some intestinal parasites. In fact, in one study in Kosovo, people under chronic war stress lost large amounts of magnesium in their urine.
Stop Draining Your Body of Magnesium
Limit coffee, colas, salt, sugar, and alcohol
Learn how to practice active relaxation
Check with your doctor if your medication is causing magnesium loss (many high blood pressure drugs or diuretics cause loss of magnesium)
In addition to all of this, make sure you are taking Magnesium supplements. The most absorbable forms are magnesium citrate, glycinate taurate, or aspartate, although magnesium bound to Kreb cycle chelates (malate, succinate, fumarate) are also good.
You’ve probably heard about avoiding carrageenan in your almond milk… but did you know that you’ll also find carrageenan in yogurts, tortillas, deli meats, shakes, ice cream, and coffee creamers? Even organic products!
Here’s why you want to avoid it:
⚠️ Tests have found "food-grade carrageenan" contaminated with up to 25% of “degraded carrageenan” (the kind not supposed to be used in food and drinks).
⚠️ Degraded carrageenan is classified as a “possible human carcinogen” by the International Agency for Research on Cancer.
⚠️ Further, when you ingest the undegraded version, it starts to degrade in the gastrointestinal tract and in the liver and turns into a carcinogen, resulting in a serious inflammatory agent that also can cause intestinal abnormalities.
Thankfully, this is an easy ingredient to avoid. Simply read the ingredient lists on the products you buy and if you see “carrageenan” on the list, put it down and look for a replacement.

Here’s a reminder of what “FDA approval” really means. How can we trust the FDA when they approve substances like this?
❌ ARTIFICIAL COLORS: Dyes derived from petroleum, linked to allergies and hyperactivity in children, which require a warning label in Europe. May also be contaminated with carcinogens, such as benzidine.
❌ SODIUM NITRITE: Preservative strongly linked to cancer and heart disease.
❌ POTASSIUM SORBATE: Preservative shown to be genotoxic to white blood cells, which could lead to cancer.
❌ TBHQ: Shown to harm the immune system and to increase the risk of food allergies to nuts, milk, eggs, wheat, and shellfish.
❌ SODIUM PHOSPHATE: Can lead to excessive levels of phosphate in the blood and puts you at risk of chronic kidney disease, increased mortality, heart disease, and accelerated aging.
❌ SUCRALOSE: Artificial sweetener linked to leukemia and other blood cancers.
❌ CARRAGEENAN: A thickener and emulsifier linked to digestive issues and cancer.
❌ DATEM & MONO AND DIGLYCERIDES: Contains trans fat which is strongly correlated with an increased risk of type 2 diabetes and heart disease.
❌ BHA & BHT: Risky preservatives linked to cancer and banned in other countries.
❌ SODIUM BENZOATE: A synthetic preservative that when combined with either ascorbic acid (vitamin C) or erythorbic acid it produces benzene, a known carcinogen.
❌ ASPARTAME: Artificial sweetener linked to increased risk of brain tumors, lymphomas, leukemia and heart disease.
