Was the lack of game time and training due to the weather going to affect the boys today?……Absolutely not and they played amazing!

Our passing game was great to watch, with players growing in confidence to take a touch and use calm passing to progress the ball forward.

Also the speed of our counter attack was class today!

Despite having the majority of the early chances we went a goal behind but definitely against the run of play. Tyler M got us back level after getting his 1st goal since coming back to the team with a great finish after Aaron picking him out with a quality pass (flash back to 9 asides)

HT and we felt in control of the game but just had to take our chances.

The bold Paddy coming on at HT for his re-debut and scoring with his 1st touch after 2 mins which was also his 1st goal after returning. Great build up play and vision from Tyler M down the left to pick out Paddy in the box.

Almost straight away and Robbie with a pin point pass to pick out Tyler M out who scored with a great finish to put us comfortably in the lead.

Great work down the right from Riley linking with Jack F who picked out Paddy who claimed his brace to make it 4-1

To round off the scoring, more great passing and Robbie setting up Tyler who grabbed his hat-trick with a quality finish!

Lots of substitutions today and trying things out with individuals, great to see!

GREAT team performance and we again had a few stand outs (just going to name a few) with Paddy grabbing 2 goals on his return, Ethan’s reading of the game, Robbie’s vision, quality of passing and dribbling, and Keir who was absolutely solid in midfield, breaking up play and keeping possession with calm passes. Outstanding!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

After the pitch lost the fight against the ❄️❄️ on Saturday the boys now face a tough one in the Regional Cup 2nd round. But the boys will be well up for the test as that’s what the cup competitions are all about!

🤞🏻 the weather is kind this week.

Made hard work of that after going 2 nil up and conceded just before HT. A great pass from Robbie and calm finish from Tyler L to get us going and pressure from Jayden helped to extended the lead. A good strike from outside the box which we could have put more pressure on and it’s 2:1 at HT

Second half Kirky started the brighter and made it a right good cup game by making it 2:2 pretty quickly after the re-start.

Another great goal after Tyler M picked out Tyler L who finished it off with another calm finish.

Could see our passing game working at times but we had to mix it in the air and with physicality and it made it a tighter game than it needed to be but fair play to Kirky and we wish them well for the rest of the season 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Few stand outs with Tyler M coming back into the team and really unlucky with a few attempts but good assist, another great performance from Robbie, doing what Robbie does best and mixing the flair with the physical side, Ethan solid and calm on the ball, Tyler L with 2 good goals and a few others too but Keir took player of the match as it was his game!! winning the ball back, reading the play, adding the skill and picking the passes. An unsung hero but that game was right up his street! Well played wee man!! 💪🏻💪🏻

Well done boys, a couple of good results to get the confidence going!

On to round 2 of the cup and we go again next weekend!

1st League win for the boys and they deserved it!

In control of both halves and we could have scored more in both halves (1:0 HT) while not looking like conceding until very late on when we had a couple of heart in mouth moments, the boys working so hard to keep that clean sheet and then eventually that goal went in but the boys went straight on the attack again and could have got another goal!

Lots of contenders for POTM with Robbie scoring and 2 assists and Zach and Jayden playing really well at the back, Riley at RWB and some others too without mentioning everyone! But Ethan edged it, calm and strong at LCB while progressing the ball well and dribbling/control was excellent. Well done Ethan 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

The great thing was that it was a strong team performance and with a bit more confidence to take a shot or find that final ball and we could have had 4 or 5 goals.

The boys have worked hard for the result and we’ve now got to use this as confidence going into the next run of games.

1st half was shocking to say the least, no way of dressing it up.

Very honest and strong team talk at HT and the boys definitely reacted in the right way. Night and day in the 2nd half, competing for 50/50’s, faster, sharper and creating chances. Asked them to show some pride and win the 2nd half and we almost did and should have, credit to the boys! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Good goal from us after work down the right from Jack.F and James putting it away.

We could have scored a few more and we were disappointed that we didn’t but it was good to see us creating more and getting into the right positions.

Few to pick from in 2nd half for POTM but Robbie took it with his drive and energy trying to pull the team forward and find the killer passes and shoot from distance. Much better from the wee man, keep that up Robbie! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Good to see Jack.A come and support the boys after an injury at training on Thursday, speedy recovery wee man!!

We’ve just gotta stop the ‘game of 2 halves’ patter that we’re getting accustomed to, but the signs are there that we can compete in this league.

Great start going up 3:1 after 23 mins but conceded straight away after the 3rd and was 3:3 by 26 mins!

1st half positives were: Taylor finish, Shea pressing upfront that created a goal, Riley coming into the team and playing well at RWB and Keir with a cool pen.

Looked like it was going to be good competitive game with 3:3 HT score line

Unfortunately 4 goals against in the 2nd half put Milton out of reach.

Player of the Match goes to Riley who has been patient for a start and played well in a new deeper role using his speed to his advantage, got an assist when pushing up to support attack and good delivery with throw ins and corners, well done Riley 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

We need to react positively and work on what will help us keep the score lines down.

Gotta keep the heads up and we go again!

2010’s

5-1 harsh on the boys after a great 1st half but it’s a game of 2 halves and we need to consistently perform over 70 mins but fair play to Stenhousemuir who came out in the 2nd half and took their chances.

We couldn’t be more proud of the boys after how they started the game going 1 up after 2 mins from a great finish by Tyler and played great to go in 1 nil up at half time.

2nd half wasn’t to be with an early goal against and running out of steam but they gave it their all against a good Stenhousemuir team who play 2 leagues above us.

A great test for us which we can take a lot of positives from and if we consistency perform like we played in the 1st half in the league campaign we’ll be on the right track.

Couple of contenders for player of the match, James, Jayden and Robbie all having good games and digging in today but Jack A took it with another solid performance with feet work and connection with the ball improving all the time. Well done Jack 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Wee shout out to Keir who took a really sore one 5 mins into the game and needs some surgery on a burst lip and has a cracked tooth. Brave boy the way he dealt with it and we all wish him a speedy recovery.
