It's Day Two of the Inaugural North Texas Gourd Festival!
It's a little rainy, but we're not letting that dampen our spirits!

While we celebrate the artistic vision of everyone today, let's not forget the love that we enjoyed from our friends, family, and neighbors.
Today, we're remembering John Flewharty, a founding member of the Dallas Gourd Patch & Texas Gourd Society; Doug Garber, a technical tools expert, and a member of the Dallas Gourd Patch; Roger Clausen, a beloved member of the Dallas Gourd Patch; and James Medders, a member of the Texas Gourd Society and American Gourd Society.

Vendors are available all day from 9am to 5pm

It's going to be a fun experience, Gourd Raffles, Hourly Door Prizes, Dallas Gourd Patch will have the kids Make and Take it. There will be gourd instruments on display, Gourd music by Tiffany Skelton for San Antonio and her son Kenyen.

North Texas Gourd Festival Competition Information

Call for entries at the North Texas Gourd Festival. The theme is "Creatures of Texas"

There is no entry fee and no categories or skill level to participate.
1st, 2nd, 3rd place ribbons will be awarded along with a People's choice ribbon, and a VIP ribbon.

Drop off your entries 9:00am - 2:00pm Thursday, April 18, 2024
Judging will be from 3:00pm - 5:00pm Thursday, April 18, 2024
Pick up will be from 3:00pm - 5:00pm Saturday, April 20, 2024

Note: This competition is not an AGS sanctioned competition.
