Meet The Mentor: Alyzande Renard
Are you looking for a mentor, or considering to join our scheme as one? This time we're introducing Alyzande who recently joined our scheme.
“I've always thought that everyone has something to help someone else. Even beginners can show you how to begin. It's a mindset I followed when I was coaching video game players and using the latest new tech to support that, the new youtube, then wordpress, email marketing and then live streaming.
Now I work as a coach for software developer apprentices and use more of a goal setting and reflective practice to help them blossom into the superstars they will become. So when I saw that Sheffield Digital was looking for someone to mentor a charity owner who needed help with their digitial marketing and web dev issues, I knew I could make myself useful. I'm hoping that with his mentoring, he's learned that you can't do everything everywhere all at once, but you can stay in control and choose what happens.
Our next session we will be looking back at some choices and seeing how they might influence his next choices and decisions.”
Big thanks to Alyzande for volunteering her time towards our scheme.
If you'd like more information about our mentoring scheme, as a mentor or as a mentee, please contact [email protected]

Employers can also develop and deliver their own careers activity, and the SIBI team will help them to do this.
