The idea came up from an amateur acoustic band, formed by Benjy (lead guitar and vocals), Stephen (backing guitar), Ray (Tambourine and vocals). [1] in Hong Kong in 2009, and are often recognized as the Stanley Boyce, the busking crew in Stanley. In November 2009, Benjy composed "Let Me Count the Ways", and it became one of the most recognized song, and he was requested by fans to re-write a Cant
onese lyrics for it. In 2010, Benjy co-wrote "Make You Smile" with his friend Jefrey Belleza, which soon became another great hit. In the same year, Benjy performed "Taboo" in a singing contest along with Alex Cheung's violin. In 2011, just before Benjy went to UK to further his study, Matthew Archer recorded and published the album "Let Me Count the Ways" as a birthday gift and farewell gift for Benjy. In 2012, Benjy entered Hallam's Got Talent show hold by Sheffield Hallam University and got into final 6.
