How to help a failing student become successful?

There are several ways to assist students who have struggled in school examinations.

✅Teachers must possess positive mindsets, patience, and skills to support weak students effectively. Failing students often experience low self-esteem and lost interest in the subjects which hinders their performance due to negative feedback from teachers.

✅They require motivation, encouragement, belief in their abilities, positive reinforcement, understanding, self-discipline, skills, and knowledge.

✅Lastly, applying psychology can be beneficial.

Dear students,

As school holidays now, I want to advise students to take the time to rest, recharge and have some fun. It's been a challenging academic year. You have all worked as diligently as ants, putting in long hours and always striving to do the best in academic. Now is the perfect opportunity to take a break from your studies and do something that you enjoy.

You may want to spend time with your family and friends, participate in sports, explore new places , learn new skills, try a new hobby, or simply take some time to relax and unwind.

Remember that school holidays are not only about having fun but also about preparing for the upcoming academic year. You can start planning for the next term, organize your study materials or revise the subjects that you struggled with during the previous term. This will help you start the new term on the right foot and avoid the eleventh hours.

Lastly, I would like to remind you to stay safe during the holidays. Make sure to follow all the COVID-19 guidelines, such as wearing a mask, washing your hands regularly, and maintaining social distancing.
