Our experience of God's grace in the Eucharist isn't meant for us alone. Like the fire we light at the Easter Vigil, we must light the candles of our own lives from the Light of Christ and pass that flame to others. This can happen when we embrace a spirituality, a worldview, and a way of living our Faith that is centered on Christ in the Eucharist.
"For the Life of the World" is an invitation to Eucharistic mission. Totus Tuus, a Latin phrase meaning "totally yours," was the motto of Blessed Pope John Paul II. The phrase was taken from St. Louis de Montfort's "True Devotion to Mary," it signifies our longing and desire to give ourselves entirely to Jesus through Mary.
Totus Tuus calls upon college students and seminarians from the Catholic Diocese of Marquette to carry the mission to all young people they encounter at the parishes they visit. Through the team members' example of joy and service, they youth see that these men and women are on fire with their faith and long for the same thing in their lives.
