Good evening, all you drama lovers! Don't forget that the SHS Players will perform Michael Druce's "And Then There Was One" tomorrow evening at 6:30 in the Southside High School auditorium. Tickets are $5 and will be sold at the door in front of the student parking lot. Get there early enough to get a great seat. It's sure to be a killer performance!

The SHS Players will perform Michael Druce's "And Then There Was One " next Thursday, December 17 at 6:30. Tickets are $5, and we recommend that you get there early enough to get a great seat before the play begins. Come and laugh with us as we solve this farcical murder mystery!

Thought I should tell you that I will not be the Drama Club sponsor next year. You know I love you all, even Ali, but I will be a .5 teacher, meaning I get to go home after 3rd period. As much as I would love to continue, I don't want to leave school just to come back 3 hours later. I wouldn't change a thing about this year. It was amazing.

I have left you in good hands with Ms. Blount as the new sponsor. I'm not going anywhere so I'll help her as much as she needs. Be sure to bring a friend to the club next year as we've got a great thing going here. Come by and see me when you can and I'll see you all on stage.

Wednesday will be our last meeting of the year. I am picking up the "Spelling Bee" video tomorrow for us to watch in the auditorium. I've even got Regal Theaters to donate popcorn. I will also have forms for those who still wish to order a video. Should be a great time. Hope to see everyone there.

Thanks to all who came to our plays this evening. Congratulations to our directors, Carissa Rhodes, Maya Dodhia, Dylan Hooper and Eleanor Weldie for a job well done. The audience loved both and so did I. Thanks to all for a great year. Mark on you calendars May 20 at 4:00 for our next and last Drama Club meeting of the year as we are watching "Spelling Bee" in the auditorium on the big screen. I might even bring popcorn. Get some rest. You all deserve it.

Just a couple of quick reminders:
Plays start at 7:00-your show time is 5:30
Cost is $5.00

After the play and after all the wonderful things people will be saying to and about you, we all need to help move the set backstage and clear everything to my room. The Band is setting up Monday for the concert on Thursday.

Anyway, have a great time tomorrow. Yesterday was fun and tomorrow should be a blast. Remember, IHop on Woodruff for the cast party afterwards.

Hey everyone! Dress rehearsal tomorrow! If you are only performing in Shakespeare, you are welcome to leave at 6:00 PM. For those of you wearing costumes, Mrs. Kelly will pick them up from Costume Curio and we will put them on before running through the play. Chorus/Company, wear all black! Emily and Mackenzie, come in your band dresses, and Allie, you can just wear all black! If you have any specific questions feel free to send me a Facebook message :) Can't wait for rehearsal tomorrow! See you guys there!
