FitzPets Pet Sitting
Caring for pets in their home environment and providing peace of mind for their owners.
It's that time of year again! Find out if it's going to be too hot this weekend to walk your pooch.
Finally back from my nearly 5 day stay at the hospital, so can't wait to sleep in my own bed tonight! One thing has confused me though, I've been prescribed steroids and I have to take 8 tablets once a day for the next 3 days, why couldn't they just give me a slightly higher dose of tablets so I have to take fewer of them...seriously, half of them stick to the back of my tongue and they taste terrible π€£ made friends on the ward though and all the staff were amazing!
Also thank you to my amazing clients for bringing some of my stuff home after my partner did his own version of packing by just throwing things in my suitcase and hoping he'd got everything π€£
Said some fond farewells to this fluffy beast last week. Owners have moved so no more pet sits or dog walks. I wish them all the best for the future and hope this young man behaves himself and has amazing adventures in his new home β€οΈ
Times the cat has actually been cute β€οΈπ
Happy New Year everyone! It's been a busy 2023 with pet sits and my fiancΓ© coming off his bike in November and breaking his collarbone π it's been a fantastic year and I'm looking forward to new adventures this year!
So I guess the cat is as ready for the new year as he'll ever be...
Merry Christmas! Hope everyone has a fabulous day!!πππππππππ
Just FYI. Hope everyone is looking forward to the Bank holoday weekend and I'll be sorting some new photos soon π
Also had an amazing time seeing Elton John!! πππ concert was incredible and we spent way too much on merchandise and light up glasses π€£
Parrots followed by the medium dog full of emotions π he was a very good boy, took lots of naps (I've decided I'm coming back as a golden retriever in my next life) and lots of cuddles when I'm chilling with him on the kitchen step. The sticky out tongue was cute too.
Been looking after these guys again π no lost fingers, escapees or loss of hearing (me π€£) had some lovely little chats with everybody and occasionally getting yelled at (still not sure why) and I played some random YouTube videos, mainly judge judy, so we've all had a little education on law in the United States π€£
So we made it to the top of Snowden!ππππ absolutely shattered, I have no doubt ill have lost the ability to walk completely tomorrow but absolutely worth it, some amazing views and we had a laugh (when we weren't gasping for air on the hike up!) Also saw some sheep with questionable parenting skills so not a bad day out.
Trip out with the other half yesterday to a castle and then I'll be especially slow to reply from this evening until Monday because I'm going up Snowden with my sister tomorrow and I have no idea how alive I'll be by Monday evening π€£ she's doing the Three Peaks Challenge later this year to raise money for Mind so we are doing a practice run tomorrow. Wish me luck, dog walking is about my limit and there's not a lot of hills involved π€£ to make it extra exciting, my knees have decided they're 90 now and hurt for absolutely no reason at any random time of the day. I'm assuming I can just roll down the other side of Snowden and it will all be fine...
Started my 2 weeks annual leave, I will be around but apologies in advance for any delayed responses, and I've managed to find out exactly how many crochet magazines and books I own π€£ the cat has been less than helpful, but at least he didn't end up in a cupboard π
Week looking after the floofs, the cat even surprised me with an inspections of the car π€£π€£, then a weekend at Twickenham with the family πππ
Had a week of adventures with this happy dude ππ been on trips to the pub for lunch, he went with me to get the other half from work 1 night, don't think he actually wanted to go but he also didn't want to miss out so he wasn't completely sold on sitting in the car in the dark π€£ he was just a happy, napping good boy.
The sympathy continues to flow from our little ratbag...π€£π€£π€£ he's lucky I check my seat before sitting down and never accidentally sat on him!
Socks sympathy for me being ill has extended to stealing my chair π€£ good job I have another 1...
Apologies for slow replies, I'm not well this week so I'm coughing away like nobody's business and Socks has his usual level of sympathy π€£
Merry Christmas everyone! Hope you all have an amazing day and Santa brought you lots of presents! ππππππππππππππ
Got to hang out with these babies β€οΈ can't believe how big the kitty's toebeans are!
Few days with the boys and I end up being a (nearly) matching floof!! π€£
More fireworks than usual by us this evening so the Fortress of Solitude is back. 1st time since we got the cat tree he's used the hammock bit. He does like hiding on the shelf below when it all gets too much β€οΈ
It seems I need to improve my whistling skills. One of the boys, they're still experimenting making noises etc to see what I respond to, tried whistling. I'm not good at whistling, I mean I'm seriously bad, but i managed to make a bit of noise so now I think I'm committed to whistling π€£
Been looking after this munchkin. Such a good boy β€οΈ
New pet sit with a little squishy cavvy puppy ππΆ definitely prefers napping to walks π€£
Made friends with the cat in the end, she purred so much, I can't get that much purring from our cat! β€οΈβ€οΈ Pupster was a good boy and we had lots of cuddles and he was an extra good boy when I brushed his feet, he likes bringing seeds everywhere with him π€£
Not a pet sitting request I get every day! These guys are adorable and I'm pretty sure 1 of them is making random noises to see what I respond to. Hopefully we've established I can't whistle to save my life but 'woo' seems to be working π€£ 1 is very suspicious of me, which is fair enough, but the little green dude likes to follow me as I sweep the floor β€οΈ that or it's all a plot to escape by luring me into a false sense of security...
