It is a volunteer service organization whose members are from all walks of life. The riverboat pilot, steering a true course through calm or troubled waters, was the historic inspiration for the name of our organization. hester-Warm Springs Pilot Club of the Georgia District is part of the larger world-wide organization. Our local club holds monthly meetings on the Third Tuesdays of each month (except January) at 6:30 PM at The Village House, 16 Johnson Ave. Manchester, Georgia. The December meeting is a Christmas Social and the date and location is established each year. Pilot Club’s primary area of service is Brain Safety and Fitness. Our newest initiative, “Pick Me Ups” seeks to offer support to Family Caregivers and promote awareness of the unique needs of these special individuals.
