The last couple of years I’ve stitched and painted primarily on handmade paper. The texture is just amazing and adds so much depth to each piece.
Inspired by a tiny painting I did in October, I made this larger version where you can really appreciate the interaction between pigment and paper. Available through my website.

Slowly making progress on a new body of work. Caring for an infant full time has me meditating deeply on repetition, pattern, routine; the coexistence and push/pull of predictability + unpredictability. Every day is the same and yet not at all, finding a rhythm but trying to flow with constant change.
