Had a great time at GP Pride 2023! Thank you everyone who helped run the booth! We got such great engagement with people in the community and whole bunch of people interested in joining the Stonewall Caucus!
What an amazing community we have. Thanks to not a CULT production for putting on amazing event for the 2nd year in a row. I don't know about you, but I truly appreciate the effort they put into getting a fence to create a safe environment for everyone to enjoy.
A huge shout out to the Pepper Shakers for being present again to counter the hate and allow people peace! I'm so excited to see what next year brings.

Today at the city council meeting in Grants Pass they are official announcing the procolomation for June to be Pride month!! If you are able attend the meeting to show your support. There is also an option to watch it live!

Keep an eye out, the Stonewall caucus will soon be starting a Political Action Series to create a safe space for LGTBQ+ people and allies to learn and engage in local politics to create a safer community for all. Taking over Boatnik one float at a time!! We got a lot more cheers than boos. It was great to have a warmer welcome than expected. Happy to see all of the smiling faces and people waving pride flags. Can't wait to have a bigger better float next year!

Is anyone available to help with the Stonewall Booth at Pride next weekend, Saturday June 10th? We are looking at 2 hour shifts and you would get a free ticket into the event. Time slots are 11:00-1:30, 1:30-3:00, 3-6:30. We could also use help with setup the night before and break down at 6:30. Let me know if you are interested!
If anyone is interested in helping the Democratic Party take back Boatnik come walk with us tomorrow in the parade. People walking/riding need to arrive by 9:30 am tomorrow. The parade is from 10-12. We are float #50 starting on B street between 6th and 7th. Hope to see you there!! We have pride flags and stickers we will be handing out to the crowd.
Stonewall Caucus is being revamped. If you are interested in joining or learning more about what events we are planning join us for our second caucus meeting of the year. We will be meeting Thursday 2/23/23 at 6 p.m. It will be a hybrid meeting that way you can join in person or over zoom.

Today President Biden signed an Executive Order to protect the reproductive rights of women in the aftermath of the Supreme Court's extreme decision to overturn Roe v. Wade.
It formalizes the actions he announced right after the decision and will add new measures to protect women's health.
