Yep, I'm one of "those people".
I can't keep a watch running if it touches my skin.
I've had countless instances of walking into businesses with automatic doors, only to have the entire building go dark as soon as I enter.
Sometimes street lights turn on or off if I walk by, and metal detectors go off even after I've taken off all my jewelry and even my belt and shoes.
Lots of my friends go on and on about how cool that is, but frankly- it sucks.
I've been fired from jobs because copy machines would fail if I touched them, and then after a few days, would work for no one BUT me.
It's actually mostly a drag, though once in awhile, it amuses or impresses the people I'm with, and we all get to have a laugh about it.

When we feel triggered by a person or experience, this is our opportunity to do the deep work of exploring the source of this disturbance. It will likely be sourced in one of those three areas above. Each trigger is an opportunity for us to bring something forward to be healed. May we have the courage, desire, and present moment awareness to use our triggers as a map to that which needs to be healed within us. For his practice will lead us to greater peace and well being. And so it is.
