Breakfast for Socks, Halloween & Spots this morning. Then Warby arrived for daycare. I took Bali & Ned on a walk in the woods and tried to teach them to go through the pipe that Cinders used to go through every time of her own accord. This afternoon the dogs at home chilled out and played in the garden. Then I took Bali, Ned & Warby on a walk round Snaprails Park. What a way to start the week, me and Nat with about 10 dogs between us all having a nice little swim in the pond and what should happen a silly mummy duck comes out of the bushes into the pond with her baby ducklings. All the dogs went mental including Natalie‘s Jodie who doesn’t who usually say to a goose. Bali started swimming around like a nutter after the ducks, mummy duck kept swooping down to try and get Bali to follow her instead of her ducklings which, worked temporarily then when Bali went back for the ducklings, they were very clever as kept ducking under the water and coming out somewhere else, leaving Bali confused as to where they went! After what felt like about 20 minutes there was no hope but for me to go in after her, because we couldn’t catch her with Nat & Ius standing at either side of the pond because she was ignoring us. I started today off with popping round to give Romeo his breakfast. Then took Bali, Arthur, Fudge & Sidney for a walk in the woods. Then I went to the woods again, but a different route with Millie, Django, Fudge, Storm & Milo. Next was to Crumbles but I didn’t see him, so I watered all the outside plants. Then this afternoon’s last walk was at Bucklers with Bali, Arthur, Luna, Sidney, Storm & Bee. This evening I went to put Romeo’s dinner down and then did my first visit to Cookie, Lulo & Poppy. Although shy I saw them all and was able to give Cookie some fuss.
