ArtHouse is a nonprofit shared studio project operated by Art is Here Partnership (AHP), Cleveland’s official LAA, local arts agency. ArtHouse is an incubator concept focusing on providing an affordable space for artists to create, exhibit and synergize with other artists.

We all dream, and sometimes we dream big! ArtHouse is a big step in the larger dream of establishing a dedicated visual and performing arts center, as well as designating the area south of Inman Street as Cleveland’s art district, coined, So-In.

AHP is happy for the ArtHouse opening to coincide with Hetzel Art Studios & Gallery's first exhibit in their new location as the anchor tenant of ArtHouse. “Head in the Clouds” is a perfect celebration of determination, perseverance, and culmination of hard work by artists, patrons, students, friends and family over Hetzel Art’s past five years. It’s so fitting as AHP is a story of determination, perseverance and hard work.

In 2019, at Hetzel Art Studios & Gallery on 25th Street, the first themed show was “Head in the Clouds.” It still remains one of the favorite events HA has ever hosted. They met and worked with so many talented artists that they still work with today. These artists will be part of the new chapter at The ArtHouse Project at the Old Woolen Mill. It has come full circle, and what a wonderful theme to revisit for the opening of Hetzel and ArtHouse. Not only for the veteran artists, but the new artists and patrons they have worked with since.
