It is a natural behaviour for the wax to solidify this way, and it doesn’t affect its performance.

As for the Bubble candle, different waxes are used for container candles, pillar candles and melts as well. The Bubble candle needs a stronger wax to hold itself and not create a huge melt pool all over your counter, hence the difference between the Basics line and the Lavish line.
