Hike, Bike, and RV Life
Life is an adventure! We are working towards traveling in our RV and seeing this wonderful world.
We plan to share how we are getting ready to accomplish this adventure.
Yosemite never disappoints.
If you get the chance, we urge you to visit this beautiful place and gaze at its majesty.
This is our second trip in four years and we had a wonderful time visiting with friends and seeing the park again. Lots of changes since 2018, leastnof which was a lack of water. Would like to see the park in the winter.
This trip we watched our friends rock climb and made the hike to Vernal Falls, our first real hike since Mark’s knee surgery in February and his ankle injury in August.
We also got to visit with Noah who now lives in LA. We miss him dearly but he is pursuing his dream and what parent could not be proud of their child living their dream? So Happy for him!
Next up…winter is coming so Mark will be looking to go north and we have a special trip coming in December.
Find your smile.
Follow your efforts.
Pursue your dreams!
Went back to the Adirondack Mountains in early December with Dave and his new puppy, Tucker who is a 32 lb, all-muscle Beagle who loves to let all within range know he smells something!
Had a long hike out to the crossing for Street/Nye and then to another leanto to check things out.
I’m coming off a knee injury and yes, I injured it again on Rooster Comb and Snow Mountains coming down thankfully!
But, it was a painful 2 mile limp back to the truck.
Lake Placid is so pretty this time of year and I do love the snow and cold…didn’t get above 20. Cannot wait to go back in February.
Another wonderful trip to Rickett’s Glen.
Find your Happy Place!
Nothing like a walk or a hike in the beautiful countryside.
Spring begins and life is returning to the once brown landscape.
Get out and get some sunshine and blue skies.
Where’s your happy place in the spring?
