Check out this fireplace transformation we are very proud to be a part of! Swipe to see the before photo. These hand-hewn beams were originally turned from round logs into squares lumber by hand, using axes and hand tools over a century ago. Judging by the growth rings they were about 150 years old back then making them at least 250 years old!! We love the warmth and character they add to the beautiful whole-home renovation done by our clients.

Part 3 of 3! This is the last one from the beautiful slab of black walnut we recently found. This is the largest of the 3 measuring in at 44” long and about 10-12” wide. The first two sold within 24 hours, and this one is available now!

Part 2 of 3. This board is the smallest of the bunch, but certainly isn’t lacking any character. It is also now available!

One of the last few Christmas gifts of 2021. We had some great customers pick up this maple and black walnut board over the weekend!

We are looking forward to a busy week and have been working like crazy preparing for these two great holiday markets this week. Wednesday you can find us at from 4-8pm and Saturday in our hometown of Hespeler at !

A little batch of charcuterie boards we made for a local realtor ready to head out the door. These were custom branded with her business logo and will be given as closing gifts!

The newest addition to our shop! This large end grain cutting board is made with white oak from a recycled Kentucky Bourbon barrel and is framed with an Ontario Black Walnut border. It has been so much fun working with the wood from this barrel.

This one is a first, but definitely not a last. We have a few more of these in progress. These are butcher blocks made entirely out of white oak from an old Kentucky Bourbon barrel. The dark markings are remnants of the charring process the barrel goes through to give the whiskey its Smokey flavor. The uneven ends were purposely left uncut to show off all the character this Wood has to offer!
