Thank you so much to Dr. Mathieu for giving a wonderful violin masterclass this past weekend. It was great for our students to learn from her and everyone was inspired! Congrats to all the CSPA students who performed:)

The Mathieu-Chua Duo Recital has been postponed duo to the pianist’s illness, stay tuned for more information about the new dates.
The violin masterclass by Dr. Mathieu is still on.
Dr. Mathieu will give a masterclass which will be held on April 23 @9:45am at Kirmser Hall. Four CSPA students will be playing in this masterclass.

Don’t miss out all of the exciting CSPA String Division activities that are free and open to public! The Mathieu-Chua Duo’s recital will be held on April 22 @7:30pm at St Paul’s Episcopal Church. Recital will feature works by leading women composers. The Violin Masterclass by Dr. Mathieu will be on April 23 @9:45am at Kirmser Hall.

We are excited to have Dr. David Colwell and Dr. Boris Vayner from the University of Kansas giving masterclasses on Monday, November 15! These FREE events will be held on KSU Campus, at 6:30pm in Kirmser Hall at McCain (Violin) and McCain 135 (Viola). KU Strings

We look forward to welcoming back violinist Mandy Wang on Nov. 27! Mandy currently serves as String Division Chair at the Community School for the Performing Arts at Kansas State University and keeps a busy teaching and performing schedule.
