Accidentally walked into live shot on my way to get my J&J shot today at Cal State LA. 😂

Got lucky and snagged an appointment early this morning before the chaos. Despite the messaging mixup, everything was well organized and run like a military operation... because it is. Signs everywhere stating it’s a federal site and no photographs or media allowed inside. National Guard, Army Corps and FEMA are VERY good at this.

I was worried about a potential allergic reaction and waited this long so I could get vaccinated at a hospital. I was relieved to see multiple medical personnel and ambulances at the ready.

The shot hurt like hell but 7 hours later, so far I feel fine. Nothing to fear here.
