How did everyone do on Easter? Truth be told I overdid it on dairy and my joint are telling me all about it. How about you?

Headed onto the course with some yummy pork rinds. White cheddar is my favorite. ππ§
Craving rotisserie chicken, so Costco to the rescue. I like to de-skin the chicken and toss it in a skillet to crisp it up. π I saved the legs and wings. I ate the rest. π€£
WEEK 15 - Focus. Focus. Focus. After a week of 'home-cation' I am fully focused and thinking about everything this that I eat. I added in some leaner meats this week (chicken and pork tenderloin).
FOOD π₯©: I ate OMAD this week. Made some delicious chicken breasts and pork tenderloin this week and ate that on repeat every day. I cut out dairy this week (no cream or cheese) and no sweetner in my coffee - so no coffee. lol
FASTING π: 23 hours of fasting.
DRINKS π§: 1 enjoyed 1 or 2 glasses of unsweet tea each morning with iodine drops and daily minerals. Then I drank water with Keto Chow daily minerals throughout the day.
SYMPTOMS π: This was a pretty fantastic week. I felt better by Tuesday.
NSV π₯³: I had a lot this week. I noticed my sun sensitivity has gotten better. I spend 40 minutes to 1 hour in the sun most days with no reactions. I had to pull out a sweatshirt in a smaller size. I walked a half-mile 2 times. And didn't need Advil to sleep many nights. HUGE WINS THIS WEEK!!!
RESULTS β: I lost 3.8 pounds this week on the scale and lost 1 inch for a total of 45.8lbs and 29.75"!!!
Non negotiable - stay carnivore no matter what. Try to get out in the sun each day and keep up on physical therapy exercises every day.

Perfect carnivore treat for a long golf day! I knew the beer cart would be making rounds, so I prepared with a big bottle of water with electrolytes and pork loin for me to eat during mealtime. They are perfectly crisp and sooo flavorful. π₯°ππ They hit the spot.
Headed out for a πββοΈ 1pm tee time β³οΈ. Grabbed lunch at Wendy's on the way quadruple bacon cheeseburger. π₯ π§ Sooo good. ππ₯°
WEEK 14 - It was a SURPRISINLY RELAXING week. We canceled our Disneyland trip due to so much rain. Instead we dedicated the week to self care and family time. That said, I did enjoy the indulgences I had been looking forward to (bacon, cheese, and pork rinds).
FOOD π₯©: I ate OMAD or 2MAD this week. I ate a variety of things pulled pork, burger patties, bacon, pork rinds, and lots of cheese. I mean A LOT of cheese. ππ§
FASTING π: 18-23 hours of fasting.
DRINKS π§: 1 enjoyed a glass of unsweet tea each morning with iodine drops and daily minerals. Then I drank water with Keto Chow daily minerals throughout the day. I also had 2 cups coffee with cream and sweet leaf.
SYMPTOMS π: As per usual eating all the bacon, cheese, and pork rinds had me feeling achy and a little less peppy.
NSV π₯³: My brain has been incredibly clear compared to before. I couldn't even focus on a TV show without doing something at the same time. Now I can. It's pretty incredible.
RESULTS β: I stayed the same this week on the scale and lost 1/2 inch for a total of 42.0lbs and 28.75"!!!
Non negotiable - stay carnivore no matter what. Planning to add in some chicken and pork tenderloin next week. I've been reading about eating high protein and lower fat I am interested to see what my body thinks about that.

Adding in some extra protein and cutting some fat today.
Air Fryer Chicken Breast and Roasted Pork Tenderloin with a cup of bone broth and peppermint tea with collagen. And it was so good.
I managed OMAD even with all the protein, but I am VERY full. π€£
Brisket Friday!!! My weigh-in day treat from made with just salt, pepper, and love β€οΈ. I can't get over their brisket. Make sure you order the fatty brisket sliced for the freshest, juiciest brisket. I pack my own salt for extra. It is amazing!!!

WEEK 12 - Well yet again, I managed 3 days of binging processed carnivore food. I started out to have a second meal of bacon. Then I made a microwave cheesecrisp, and then I had a bag of pork rinds. Lesson learned. I am not in a place to have a second meal each day. It throws me off track. Stick with OMAD.
FOOD π₯©: I ate TMAD for 3 days and OMAD for four days. I got a truckload of Wendy's burger patties for easy lunches.
FASTING π: 16-21 hours of fasting.
DRINKS π§: 1 enjoyed a glass or two of unsweet tea each morning with iodine drops and daily minerals. Then I drank water with Keto Chow daily minerals throughout the day. I also had 2 cups coffee with cream and sweet leaf.
SYMPTOMS π: I felt mentally down and my joints hurt after eating the processed food. The pain lasted until Friday.
NSV π₯³: I drove! About 6 miles. It's been a while because my right leg is so weak and I couldn't tolerate it, but I drove!!! I am so proud of myself.
RESULTS β: I gained 1.2 pounds and lost 1/2 inch for a total of 38.6lbs and 27.25"!!!
My plans for the next week are to stay the course. We are headed to Disneyland next week and if I stick with what I know works, it'll be great.

For those who asked to see what my meals look like.... This is ribeye week. For an entire week I enjoyed a ribeye steak everyday. I cooked it in the air fryer many of those days and used clean seasonings. I also prepared it in my Inferno 1500Β° Grill a few days. I added butter, browned butter, and even eggs one day. I hope you enjoy the photos! π₯©π
WEEK 11 - Started off celebrating my great week 10 and that led to a lot of processed carnivore food binging Friday and Saturday. Bacon, then cheese, then a lot of pork rinds.
FOOD π₯©: I ate TMAD for a few days and OMAD for a five days.
FASTING π: 16-21 hours of fasting.
DRINKS π§: 1 enjoyed a glass or two of unsweet tea each morning with iodine drops and daily minerals. Then I drank water with Keto Chow daily minerals throughout the day. I also had 2 cups coffee with cream and sweet leaf.
SYMPTOMS π: I felt mentally down and my joints hurt after binging the processed food Friday and Saturday. The pain lasted until Wednesday.
NSV π₯³: Exercising regularly. I am doing my physical therapy exercises. Moving is getting easier.

WEEK 10 - All about routine and getting systems in place this week. It was a REALLY GREAT week. Notice the cow socks to celebrate STEAK WEEK.
FOOD π₯©: I ate OMAD, beef ribeye all week and coffee with 2T cream and 8 drops sweet leaf.
FASTING π: I only drank coffee an hour before I ate and an hour after, so 3 hour eating window. 21 hours of fasting.
DRINKS π§: 1 enjoy a glass or two of unsweet tea each morning with iodine drops and daily minerals. Then I drank water with Keto Chow daily minerals throughout the day. I also had coffee with cream and sweet leaf (see above).
SYMPTOMS π: I felt great all week.
NSV π₯³: My physical therapist is really impressed with my progress. As a matter of fact I felt so good this week, that after therapy I cleaned the kitchen and took the dogs for a walk! πΆπΆββοΈ
RESULTS β: I lost 7 pounds and 1 inch for a total of 37.4lbs and 26.25"!!!

WEEK 9 - This week we tried to get back to routine but my daughter was really sick so it ended up being a laid back week.
FOOD π₯©: I was still eating several meals a day this week. Mostly smoked pulled pork, bacon, lots of cheese, pork rinds, and coffee with cream and sweet leaf. I felt really inflammed all week so I am planning a beef cleanse next week. (All beef)
FASTING π: I didn't eat until noon each day. So about 16 hours each day.
DRINKS π§: 1 enjoy a glass or two of unsweet tea each morning with iodine drops and daily minerals. Then I drank water with Keto Chow daily minerals throughout the day. I also had coffee with cream and sweet leaf.
SYMPTOMS π: I felt a lot of inflammation and joint pain all week (likely due to all the cheese). My energy was down and mood were down this week. Connection to the food I chose? Likely.
NSV π₯³: My physical therapist is really impressed with my progress and we are moving on to more difficult exercises. πββοΈ
RESULTS β: I lost 1 pound and measured this week, down a total of 25.25"!!!
It was a challenging week. I am planning to do all beef OMAD next week to kind of cleanse from all the cheese and vacation food. Hopefully that will get rid of the inflammation and down mood.

WEEK 8 - My sister and her husband surprised me with a visit and we headed to Sedona. This was a mind blowing week for me.
FOOD π₯©: I alternated between one and two meals each day. I ate out a lot this week again. Made good carnivore choices. Mostly burger patties, ribs (no sauce), Bacon, and a Smokehouse platter at a Mexican restaurant.
FASTING π: I didn't eat until noon each day. So about 16 hours each day.
DRINKS π§: 1 enjoy a glass or two of unsweet tea each morning with iodine drops and daily minerals. Then I drank water with Keto Chow daily minerals throughout the day.
SYMPTOMS π: I felt great all week. No inflammation. My energy and mood were great.
NSV π₯³: I hiked. I. HIKED (over a mile) on uneven terrain!!! I shopped. I walked to stores and restaurants without being dropped off close to them. I walked up the steep ramp to Chapel of the Holy Cross and down the stairs to the gift shop and then back.
I didn't have to watch my family have fun from the car. β€οΈπ₯°
RESULTS β: I lost 0.6 pounds and didnt take measurements this week.
It was a really amazing week.
