ALERT 🚨 • This photo from a couple years ago is not IG worthy or Pinterest perfect! But here I am re-sharing it anyway. Why?

1. I do not have the patience and I am not willing to sacrifice my time to make, print, cut out, and tape labels on to each bin. 👋🏼 girl, bye.

I take a dry erase marker and write right on the bin. If I ever need to change it, I use a magic eraser to get it off and then write on it again with a dry erase marker. 👏🏼.

I don’t have to find the file on my computer. Hope my printer has ink. Cut anything out or use tape👏🏼👏🏼.

But then...

2. I remember that Dolores came at me when I was feeling accomplished about organizing all of this, telling me: “The bins don’t match and your handwriting is sloppy and not centered.” 🧐 Really? Really, Dolores (aka my anxiety)?! 👋🏼 girl, bye.

As much as I don’t have time to do the whole label thing, I certainly don’t have time to let Dolores tell me about myself😂 go step on a lego, you are not welcome here.

Moral of the story? You DO NOT need to make everything pretty and cute. Functional wins every time. (But also, if you do want to make cute labels, I’m here for it and I will 100% double tap your picture.)👯‍♀️

Aside from this organization, I do like my binders. If you're curious about what my binder organization system looks like (especially for IEP paperwork), then this is for you 👉 https://youtu.be/ENigTGlskr8

Need more ideas on how you can implement this strategy into your classroom this year? DM me or head to my Blog where I dig a little deeper into what a Mini Schedule is and how you can use this tool with your students ✨
