Our May Leadership Spencer County session was hosted by Holiday World & Splashin' Safari - our county’s very own phenomenal theme/water park! 🎢

The class participated in a Cultural Competencies session facilitated by Luis Santiago, Community Outreach & Engagement Educator with Purdue Extension in Daviess County, in the morning. And after a scrumptious lunch, the group toured the park’s EMS area, weather center, and newly constructed Compass Commons. 😋 ⛑️ ⛅️ 🏠

The March Leadership Spencer County session featured the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. Participants learned about their personality type, strengths, and challenges — definitely helpful insight for leaders at all levels! 💡
After a delicious lunch from Back 9 Grill, the group toured Santa Claus Museum & Village to learn about the area’s history… a tour led by Santa’s Chief Elf, Pat Koch. 🎅🏻

Check out the amazing menu for Farm to Fork on July 28th, a fundraiser for Spencer County CASA hosted by Matilda's Event Barn. Get your tickets before July 19th! You don't want to miss this! ♥️

This night is about everything local! All of the food for the evening is from Spencer County Farms, with drinks from local wineries and breweries. Tickets for the event will include gourmet appetizers during cocktail hour, and a 4-course seated meal (including dessert) and alcoholic beverage. The food will be prepared on-site by formally trained Chef Tim Flick of Carodella's Custom Catering.
