Weaving on my old Dryad 4 shaft floor loom today, fabric for a summer dress for @rosieposieduffy. King Cole "Summer" yarn, 15dpi for warp and weft. The boat shuttle has bits of cork on the spindle to stop the bobbin jamming, great tip from YouTube.

Just had a very successful weaving lesson, I taught this lady to spin last year and now she's weaving the fabric for this vest, after making a mock up to check the fit. Ashford 16in rigid heddle loom, 5dpi, aran warp in 2 shades of cream, chunky handspun tops. Brilliant morning 😊🐑

Inspiration from our garden. Cottons for the warp, 10dpi on my Kromski Harp loom. The weft is dyed fleece spun and plied with some lovely brown alpaca from "Hamlet" belonging to my friend Elisabeth.

2 looms, 2 projects. Ashford 20in knitters loom 15dpi, cotton warp, handspun cotton and silk weft. Kromski 24in Harp loom 7.5dpi, mixed wools warp, handspun wool weft. Love these looms 😀

Tencel and cotton trouser fabric. GW TR003 pattern. 10dpi woven on 24in Kromski Harp loom.

Mixed cotton yarns for a pair of trousers, my pattern GW TR003. (see profile). I've used a warping frame for direct warping, 200in x 22in, 10dpi on my Kromski Harp loom. The warp is attached to the front rod with ribbon. The weft is 3 ends of Tencel wound onto the shuttle together. Cheerful colours for a grey day 🔥😊

I'm loving this weaving with the Ashford vari-reed, quite subtle but I've tried 3 different yellows for the weft. 1st is lemon, 2nd is golden, 3rd is sunshiny, I like this one best. Happy weaving! 🌻
