Join us as we welcome Lauren Gourley, MSW, IMH-E®, join us for the event presenting on "Rupture and Repair: While Parenting, At Work and Within Ourselves." Lauren will define and explore the concept of “rupture and repair”. While the concept is most often considered within the parent/child relationship she will also explore how experiences of rupture and opportunities for repair occur within our work relationships, and at work with children and families, and even within ourselves. The importance of repair will be discussed as a foundational building block for resilience and healthy relationships. Practical strategies will be introduced to support participants’ ability to identify many different types of ruptures within relationships and develop our comfort and capacity to initiate repairs with others and, using a frame of self-compassion, within ourselves.
