Baby Ballet 8 week term of Baby Ballet. 3.10-3.55pm

Newcastle classes are continuing up until the 8th of April. We will then have a wee break for two weeks and come back after Easter on the 29th of April for our summer term 🎉🎉

Junior Hip Hop 6-7 pm

Dance classes this afternoon with Kerrie! 😍

Just a wee note to parents about pick up and drop off times, you can leave your child off just before class starts and with regards to pick up we have had a few issues lately with parents being late.

Please try your best to be on time to collect your child. Firstly your wee one might be worried if you're late and secondly it's just not fair on Kerrie and Lorna who are so great teaching all afternoon but also want to get away home by the end of the friday night ❤️🙏

Kerrie is going to be teaching in our Newcastle classes for the next term as I have an injury right now and am unable to dance, however I wanted to to keep the classes running for you all. I will still be there on Friday and Lorna (our dance assistant for anybody who is new), kerrie and I will see you there 🤗

Here's a little bit about Kerrie:
Kerrie competitively trained in a wide variety of styles such as ballet, modern, tap, lyrical, contemporary, commercial, ballroom and Latin. She trained from the age of 5, taking part in competitions, musical shows and exams yearly. She studied at Inchicore college in Dublin where she obtained her HND in dance and her teaching qualifications with the ISTD. During her time at college, she was able to partake in an Erasmus programme where she travelled to Vienna and trained with top choreographers such as Jermaine brown and Salim Gauwloos. She wants to focus on technique as well as boosting students confidence and performance. She wants to build a fun and safe dance space that her students look forward to attending. Whether students are partaking in dance as a fun hobbie or pursuing it as a career, she will help each individual with their own progression.

Unfortunately classes have been postponed due to covid-19 and with the school closures. I hope that you are all well and staying home and safe.

Term will continue on as soon as the schools open and we will pick up where we have left off for the last 3 weeks of term.
