This was an absolutely wonderful book wull of charming characters. It makes you wonder about your own life, it makes you reflect on your past and your present, it makes you sad and it makes you joyful and hopeful. My copy of this edition is full of underlines passages which I want to keep in mind because... I WANT TO LIVE!

You got an anonymous call telling you that your kid has been kidnapped on her way to school and that the only way to get her back is to kidnap another kid in return.
What would you do...?

I really enjoyed this novel and am glad to see that the movie adaptation started shooting this month!

Un llibre sobre crims reals molt interessant, molt ben escrit, i molt entretingut. Per aprofundir en els diferents casos de què tracta aquest llibre.
El recomano a tothom a qui agradi aquesta temàtica.

A saving plan is obviously needed, so I think I am going to try Kakebo. Not sure I will be able to have such consistency, though... Have you tried it/Do you use it? What is/was your experience?

Aquest ha sigut un Sant Jordi una mica estrany, sense parades als carrers, amb poques recomanacions... Però amb una rosa preciosa que no m'esperava!!

I read Slumdog Millionaire and absolutely loved it. Some years later I real Q&A, the book Slumdog Millionaire is based on, and I didn't like it as much. I started watching the film then, and stopped watching not long into it.

LIBRO vs. PELÍCULA

Este es otro ejemplo de libro cuya adaptación a la gran pantalla me parece muy buena.

Fidel al libro original, recreando un ambiente tenebroso, con un gran Sean Connery como Guillermo de Baskerville y con Christian Slater encarnando a un inocente Adso de Melk.

Nunca me cansaré de releer este libro o de volver a ver la película!

BOOK vs. FILM

I usually don't like films based on books I loved. There are, however, some exceptions.

This is one of them. "Matilda", one of my all-time favorite books, was brought to the big screen some years ago. Starring Mara Wilson and an excellent Pam Ferris as Agatha Trunchbull, I found the version really good and faithful to Roald Dahl's book.

I will never get tired of re-reading this wonderful story about families, loving books, unfairness and love!

What book have you been putting off for more than a year?

After TWO YEARS trying to start this book on November 9th, this year I didn't forget!!! I really realized I had missed the date some days later and had the strength to wait for another year until it was November 9th. TWICE.

I am so happy to start this story about two people meeting on the same day every year, and one of them being what s/he doesn't seem to be. I can't wait to find out everything about these two characters!

I really love all the books I've read so far by and am sure I won't be disappointed by this one. What books are you currently reading?

This was my first Vi Keeland book. I was not very sure about it and didn't know what to expect, after hearing such good reviews from her books, but I LOVED it!!!!

It was fun, intriguing, entertaining, and full of twists and turns. I really enjoyed it!

I am currently reading "Final Girls" alternating between both physical and eBook.
So far I like it quite a lot, though I guess the hype made me get too high expectations about it.

Today I finished my second Kasie West book. After loving "Listen to your heart", I found "On the fence" much lighter. The feelings, the story... it wasn't as good as the other book I read by her. This book was published 4 years previous to the other one I read, and it is clear how much Kasie West's style has improved. I want to read something else by her. Any recommendation on which of her books I should read next?

MOST BEAUTIFUL COVER EVER!!!!! I have had this book on my TBR shelf for AGES. I hardly ever read futuristic/dystopian novels, so it took me a long time to pick it up. I'm currently on page 40, and so far I like it quite a lot! Let's see what I think when I finish it.
