Jasna has been working with resin and
polyclay for many years, during which
time she found and fostered her
distinctive, daring and dynamic style
of jewellery art. Her techniques and designs are passionately
developed in painstaking experimentation. Creating
each element of any jewellery piece is lengthy
process requiring repeated handling. To create any resin piece, Jasna starts by mak
ing
a mould. Liquid resin is poured into the mould and
when the resin hardens, it is removed from the
mould, sanded and polished, than drilled or glued
if required. Pieces from polymer clay are first conditioned in a
tedious kneading session. When the colours are
selected and mixed, the clay is formed into desired
shape and baked. These pieces usually need to be
sanded, polished, drilled or glued. Jasna lovingly produces by hand all her jewellery
as one-of-a-kind which makes it stand out in this
market of mechanically and mass produced styles. CARE - Resin and polyclay components are exceptionally
durable. However, they should be handled with some
care, as occasionally a bangle may crack or break
if dropped on hard surface. From time to time add few
drops of baby oil to your resin or polymer clay to restore
the shine. All used components are of a good quality and from
reputable manufacturers. Sterling silver should be
polished occasionally as it is normal that it tarnish
over time. Every effort has been made to ensure the best quality
finish. If, however, something goes wrong, Jasna is
always available to mend anything that is in her power.
