As a young girl, one of my favorite things in the whole world was to visit my grandparents, Claude and Olive's, farm. Both teachers by profession, they were also hard working farmers.....true 'salt of the earth' people. When my grandfather was paralyzed in a farm accident, I saw the true meaning of love betwee
n two people in the way my grandmother took care of him, something I will never forget. One of my most vivid memories of them was going in to town for ice cream on hot summer evenings. I would jump in the back seat and watch my grandmother load my grandfather and his wheelchair in the car, and away we would go. I remember the thought that would always go through my head, "this must be what true love really is". I will always cherish those memories and the two people in my life that taught me "the true meaning of love".....Claude and Olive.
