Cassi, the white dog on our FB cover, rescued us many years ago in NH. Within 6 months of adopting Cassi, she went from a very frightened, and aggressive, young dog to a certified therapy dog and most importantly, beloved family member. We had the joy of being part of her pack for 12.5 years until her passing on September 19, 2016. With our hearts broken and our home empty, we knew we needed to fi
ll the void somehow. We decided the best way we could honor Cassi's memory was by doing our small part to help other dogs find loving homes. We are volunteers and on the list as fosters for Big Dog Ranch Rescue and Palm Beach County Animal Control. Rick works with the bigger dogs .... training, playing, walking and general socialization. Our combined efforts are towards one goal, to find these sweet critters their best forever home. Sometimes a dog needs some extra love, attention, medical care, and/or training to make them more "adoptable". We only foster one dog at a time. We created this page to make it easier to share photos and stories about the dog(s) we foster so that a potential adopter has a pretty good idea if "our dog" is the right fit for them. We answer questions & arrange for a potential adopter to meet "our dog". Once a dog is adopted, our home is, once again, available to another dog that needs some TLC to help them find their forever home & family.
