Are you struggling with consistency?
Try to implement more rest as part of your training schedule.
You may begin to notice that there is not as much loss between training 2-3 days a week vs training 4-5 days a week.
Do what allows you to be consistent week in and week out.
Consistency is where growth happens.
Check out our recent blog on moving more at work! It can be a challenge to get workouts scheduled during the school year.
Start with adding more movement while at work.
3 easy ways:
1. Move around the classroom
You probably already move around your classroom, but if not, it’s an easy way to add more activity to your day.
2. Move with your kids at recess
If you’re in an elementary school, join the fun during recess! Play soccer, organize a class activity, or jump rope with the students. The possibilities are endless, and it’s a fantastic way to enjoy the sunshine and move your body.
3. Move before or after school
Find time to move before or after school. Take a simple stroll around the school perimeter before heading home. Grab a colleague and do some planning or brainstorming while walking. It’s a great way to stay active and be accountable to each other!
