"“Tonight” is a sexy beat! A bold + sensual home-video felt thus appropriate!
We made it more than a year ago, in the pick of lockdowns and all sorts of restrictions. As I was continuously having it difficult to go somewhere or to hire a crew, I decided to go ~even more intimate this time.
It is definitely the most undressed video of mine and the most vulnerable in means too: I combine shot footage w/ personal archive; for a first I am both behind + in front of camera; I didn’t have a crew; and shot quite personal scenes with my partner then (who turns not to be my partner anymore). The editing of this one felt hence such a personal blanket that I was hand-sewing. Especially the 1:30 minutes intro. Thus the release of this work now is a curious one to experience. I think that to all of us "Tonight" feels and will continuously feel a bubble in time, some other reality of time + space. Few minutes to go ~entirely somewhere else. That was the intention.

Thanks to the friends + colleagues who perform in it and who also filmed. I love you all."

"Tonight" Artwork, the process :🔪✂️📰
aka 🥷 is the beautiful creative mind behind the artwork of our brand new release "Tonight".

This technique combines the art of digging magazines, catalogs, books with a cutter, reusing paper scraps on various media. It has evolved over the time, in constant search for a material relationship with the paper-medium: digging it, piercing it, tearing pieces with tape, more generally "vandalizing" it.
