I had a great weekend doing what I love most - spending time in my studio! I was making lots of product including our best seller, Happy Dog goat milk shampoo. It's currently sitting in the mold and after 24 hours, I'll hand-cut it into shampoo bars. Then, it's off to the curing racks for 5 weeks before it can be sold! 🧼

When I started formulating my recipes for our products, it was important that we had full control over the ingredients and where they were sourced from. I found some of the speciality oils, such as rose and calendula weren't easy to find in large quantities without the quality being compromised.

Knowing we could get organic, dried flowers, seeds and stems. we decided to make them ourselves. This is a jar of our solar-infused rose oil ready which has been sitting in the sun for 5 weeks and is now ready to be pressed.🌹

This is used in our skin therapy balm for its array of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and amino acids which aid in treating skin conditions and help speed the healing of damaged tissue.

As a business owner we understand its hard to avoid plastic since most companies fill their packages with air pillows and bubble wrap for delivery. So rather than toss them into the garbage where they end up in the landfill, we reuse them for our orders. Any plastic in our orders is recycled and we encourage our customers to do the same.
