Some of the world’s most pressing questions were explored in this year’s edition which had innovation as its theme. What will it take to manage the world’s water? On 19 July we welcomed all Scholars, members of Rhodes Scholars in Britain and Staff to attend and celebrate Nelson Mandela International Day, over summer drinks and homemade cakes at Rhodes House. Tag yourselves in the photos!

Meet Jordan Thomas (New Jersey & St Antony's 2018) – “I am reading for an MSc in Evidence-based Social Intervention and Policy Evaluation with a focus on programmes for reducing inequality and promoting social mobility amongst disadvantaged groups. Outside of class, some of my favourite activities have included developing a social business venture in the Rhodes Incubator and offering impact consulting services for local charities through Oxford Impact Labs. I have also enjoyed going outside of my comfort zone by taking swimming and ice skating lessons!”
