A very interesting lesson is in store for us today.

Many of us have gone through the (sometimes long and arduous) process of learning to feel safe in the world in which we live, that safety can sometimes bring some jading side effects.

In the first line we see Lam, the base chakra. It represents our feeling of physical safety. So the narrative here is that once we learn to trust that we are truly safe, we no longer allow fear to hinder us from success and progress. This leads to healing (Yam, the heart chakra) and ultimately allowing love to flow and encompass our lives.

Next we journey to a place where some of us who have developed our gifts have come to reside. We get a glimpse into the collective through those gifts and we begin take them for granted, instead of rejoicing about our connection. At that point we need to consider detaching from the monotony that we often resign ourselves to, allowing our connection to "tune in" fresh, and simply LISTEN! Not filter everything to fit our predetermined framework, not expect that connection to the collective to show up at 7:43 ON THE DOT because "that's when I say it should happen".
Just listen.
Be open.
Be.

So where does that leave us? At a point to rest and reconsider our methodology. A point to take a look at our process, and ultimately realize that our once new and shiny connection to the collective only became tarnished because we forgot what a true and special gift it IS.

Take the time to appreciate the AMAZING gifts that you have. Those you've spent hours and hours developing as well as those you seem to have been born with. Not everyone can do that thing that you do and THAT IS BEAUTIFUL!! Gratitude is the most fulfilling gift you can give to yourself as a thank you.

Go be grateful!

Today we're going to take a look at the year ahead.

The most important thing to acknowledge right from the start is that the time of solitude is over. It's time to come out of your shell, it's time to stretch forth and be who you've been waiting to be (why did we do that whole waiting thing again?) . So as we move on, as if it's any surprise, things will start happening! Those dreams you've had of being this or that become realities and as a result of your new world opening up, opportunities beyond your wildest dreams come knocking on your door.

Now, sometimes, new can be scary, but we are reminded to approach these situations with the most powerful force we posses : love. Simply love and move forward into that new world. On and on we go as we radiate that love into the ethers. Our love fills us with confidence and that confidence allows us to believe in ourselves which leads to the inevitable outcome of success. So what happens when a seed starts to grow? It keeps growing !! Now that we've found ourselves in this beautiful new place we get a whole new rush of ideas. New roads rise up to meet us. New possibilities abound.

Finally, though we may find the inevitable pitfalls along the way, we are reminded that new adventures also bring new challenges. We can frame those challenges as terrible things that happen TO us, or wonderful lessons for US to learn from (though those lessons aren't always fun). It's important to not take the backseat at the first sign of trouble. Take the lead in your life. You will see your power, and discover how truly gifted, brave, and wonderful you are.

Never Say Never!
Life is made up of cycles.....you never know what life experiences will bring with fluctuating circumstances!
Never is unrealistic...so get REAL!
Embrace the things and experiences that come!
They can serve as great teachers!

This week, the good old universe is giving us a lesson on a touchy subject :letting go of something and healing.

We start out with an important step, a sincere desire to heal something. Then through our power and experience we manifest that healing, as we've done before in our lives, and then move on with love. So far so good right? It's an average, run of the mill, adult situation.

Well this is where it goes a little deeper. Next life says, "Hold your horses. Be still and LISTEN". Suddenly when the hustle and bustle is silenced and all is quiet, we see a deeper root to what we feel we've "let go of". We realize there may be an older, more challenging issue at hand, and this sequence of events has provided us the opportunity to see what that is. Now we can not only look into the heart of the issue but, through identifying what that is, master it. No longer feeding it unconsciously.

Finally the outcome clarifying an important point : Don't just go through the motions. Stop. Breathe. BE! and see what is often right in front of your face. Not only will this process afford you the chance to deal with the past by being in the present, it creates a security in this life. A certainty that, come hell or high water, you can work with whatever life throws your way. As Lam (or the base chakra) represents.

This is a tough one for a lot of people. Don't brush it off. Think about it, and try it out.

It was today's lesson from the universe for a reason.

INFINITE GRATITUDE!
As you can see, we are touched EVERYDAY by the abundance of our planet & the society in which we live!
There is so much more that wasn't mentioned... all these people's hard work, the availability of resources, even the very ATOMS that make up this whole existence!
As you "Give Thanks" today, realize you are sending love and gratitude to people you may never meet, have no clue how they have touched your lives, and who will continue to do their jobs without thinking about it.
As you return to Work after the holiday, remember we ALL have important roles in this world, whether or not we are able to see it!
