Position: Information Security Engineer
Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an Information Security Engineer located in Cairo, Egypt. The Information Security Engineer will be responsible for implementing and testing security measures, conducting risk assessments, performing security audits, and troubleshooting security issues. Daily tasks also include staying up to date with industry trends, working on security protocols, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Install and operate security related software
Upgrade systems to enable security software
Test and evaluate new technology
Perform pe*******on testing
Analyze IT requirements and provide objective advice on the use of IT security requirements
Gather feedback from end users to continue to improve systems
Design, analyze and implement efficient IT security systems
Qualifications
0-3 years of experience in information security
Knowledge of Windows, Linux and Unix
Problem-solving and Troubleshooting Skills
Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering
Excellent learner and desire to explore new technology
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities
Knowledge of Networking concepts and firewalls, IDPS concepts
Experienced in installing security software and documenting security issues
