Our previous date was set for October 29. Our County Commission last week set the county-wide date for trick or treat for that same day. With so much already going on that Saturday night, we decided in our best interest to move the race up to October 22 at 6pm. Emails have been sent to those who registered already with the update.
Race medals are limited for the event and it's first come, first serve when crossing the finish line.
Also, we have a deadline on ordering shirts by Oct 14! So definitely register now so we can have a headcount on what needs to be ordered. Those who pre-registered will get their shirt. Those who register on race day will have to wait for the next order.

Coal Dust Run is tonight at 6pm from Downtown Williamson!
We will be at the Coal House early at 3:30pm til 5:45pm for picking up your bib and registering for the event.
2nd Ave from Harvey Street and Logan Street and 2nd will be closed at 4pm until the race is finish. Detour onto 1st Ave behind the Mingo County Courthouse. Motorists use caution and be careful. We will have volunteers, Williamson Fire Department, Pike County Sheriff, Williamson Police along the course. Use your best judgment.
Again, race starts at 6pm.
