Hello to all of my wonderful fiber friends on Facebook & Instagram!

Over the next few weeks I (Marcie) am taking a little break from work, social media, and Live videos.

Nothing is amiss! I’m just taking a few weeks to recharge my batteries. :) Alex and I have always tried to be strong advocates of mental health and taking a breather when you need one so that you can be the best version of yourself. And it’s time for me to put that into practice for myself! I’ve been spending this week knitting things for fun, unpacking our house that we just moved into, and getting my family settled before Alex and I take a vacation for just the two of us.

All of our staff is running things as-per usual and I am very grateful to them and Alex for carrying on like the champions they are. Tomorrow they will be releasing our new Vampire themed set, and we are bringing back some special limited colorways next week for the month of October.

We’ll be back doing Lives again just in time for our Halloween Special (which I’m holding on a Wednesday the 30th so I can take my kids trick-or-treating). I’m already looking forward to seeing you all again!

This Pretty Pumpkin Princess is disappearing after September 30th. This is the last weekend to get this cute fall colorway. You can find it in all of our bases on the Bad Sheep Yarn website.

Quick update: We are not in the projected path of Hurricane Helene, but we are still getting ready in case something changes. BSY Live is going to be canceled this week. We are expecting that there will be some shipping delays due to the storm, but we’ll have more information next week once it’s passed. Stay safe everyone!

This year you can get the Bad Sheep Yarn Tweeds in an Aran and a brand new Sock base. This is a super seasonal tonal-solid set that we loved to pieces last year.
You’ll find some old favorites like Steam from my Coffee, Apple Cinnamon, Toffee Rose, and Falling Leaves as well as the new beauties, Cottage Ivy, Cranberry Mums, and Caramel Chai.
Last year we were only able to have our Tweeds available for 2 or 3 weeks because we got all our mill had to offer us. We’re hoping we can have them a little bit longer this time so we’re just going to ride this tweed wave as long as we can!

The Daffodils in Sunshine Mitts are a quick knit pattern that only uses one skein of DK weight yarn. You’ll be using techniques like cables, lace, and bobbles to create a beautiful cabled pattern that looks like blooms climbing up a trellis. And I do love every bit of that.
I made our Daffodil in Sunshine mitts with a skein of Elvish and Lauren used a skein of Incandescently Happy for happy sunny mitt. So pick your favorite color and make yourself a pair!

Live update!
We had family last week and this week we are in the middle of moving our home. My live shelves and yarn stash is all in boxes and totes. :)
Next week (9/19) we’ll be back and ready to roll!

This cute yarn tote is from my niece. She got it for me a couple of years ago for Christmas. I’m sorry I’m not sure where she got it from!
