“Fill the kiln! Fill the kiln!” I can almost hear this tiny army chanting so I make more Littles and Mushies!!! Luckily it sounds friendly 😉 We’re out of so many things after Ann Arbor - and doing our best to be restocked for our September shows: Franklin’s Art in the Village and Art & Apples Festival in Rochester.

Waiting… ceramics requires a lot of patience, especially with the humidity we’ve had lately! Small things are usually ready to bisque fire in three days, but larger works can take a week. Here’s what my favorite clay looks like as it dries ( 112 Brown).

Kelly Lyons and John Lucassian are Michigan based cermaisicts who will be attending our South Haven Juried Art Fair 2024 Saturday, July 6, 10am-5pm and Sunday, July 7, 10am-4pm.

DELAYED! 🥵 Due to the excessive heat and strain on the electrical grid, our glaze firing is delayed until next week. By then we’ll have a back up of kiln runs, so hopefully better weather next week!
