Meet our Secretary General!🔆

Top of the day to everybody! I mostly go by the name of Palăr but I am also called Rareș in case you didn’t know. I am honored to take part in the 9th edition of BacauMUN as the Secretary General and I believe that this year will be one to be remembered for a long time.
I won’t bore you by saying that this was my biggest dream ever since I started as a junior staff at a previous BacauMUN edition, or by stating that I am forever grateful to Raluca and Stefan who made me love MUNs and their community. Also, I will leave out the fact that I grew so much in the past year from the conferences that I attended.
I look forward to meeting every single one of you and I hope that this MUN will be the start of your debating carrers as it was mine.

My MUN journey began almost two years ago at this very conference, and I never imagined that I would end up part of the organising team. Hello! My name is Miruna and I am beyond thrilled to be this BacauMUN edition's Chief of Press. Presenting information about myself briefly is not my greatest asset, as I tend to be quite the chatterbox, but I will attempt to sum everything up, as to spare everyone reading this: I write. I like painting bizzare and eccentric thoughts through words. I ask questions, sometimes too many. Most are left unanswered, yet, as humans, (and, of course, future press corp members :>), our greatest duty is to be curious and never cease our search for the truth. For me, BacauMUN has been the answer to a handful of inquiries. I strongly hope it is going to serve the same purpose in your MUN adventure!! Can't wait to see you in October

Day 1 UNEP
The second day of BacauMUN, and the first day of the committee session, was a busy one, filled with over seven hours of debate. Since the highest majority of the delegates were first timers, the chairpersons decided to start the first committee session with a small revision of the Rules of Procedure. After everyone was on the same page with the protocols and the way the debates are being held, the Formal Debate has started.

Day 1 Sochum
The second day of debate in the SOCHUM committee started out with the calm before the storm. Delegates entered the conference room like volcanoes ready to erupt.
Who wins the war in the end? Well, of one thing we are sure: BacăuMUN has one more day left to bring clarity in this conflict. Until then, you can find more gossip and interesting things regarding every committee on our blog!

THE QUIET: An Usual bUNker Morning

Good morning fellow survivors! Today, as it is such a definitive day for humanity's future, the WIRED press team has decided to impress everyone with hourly live updates on the situation of our leaders. Having been trapped inside the radiated bUNker for two months, they are struggling to come up with creative ideas that would help them escape safely and return to their homes. Disappointingly, the CH41RP3RS0NZ machines are currently defunct, therefore our heads of state are facing a new challenge - fixing up their mediators. So, please, stay WIRED up in order to see whether they will survive or pass away, just like Joe Biden and Xi Jinping.

On the second day of BacauMUN, the delegates walked each into their committee rooms and gathered once more to fight fierce battles with their intellects as swords and arguments as unbreakable shields. The debates were on fire and even dancing, laughing, and gossiping was in order. We can safely say it was a very good second day!

The first day of BacăuMUN officialy started on the 4th of november. Delegates of all countries gathered in the Conference room, where they were welcomed with an Opening Ceremony. After that, the Mock Debate started and all nations began a debate about democracy. Hello! I am Alexandra Bordeanu and I will be BacăuMUN’s Secretary-General. It has been a dream of mine to get here ever since I was a delegate for the first time, at BacauMUN, the conference which started my journey and a new chapter of my life. I am more than honored to hold this position and I am glad to have such an amazing team by my side.
MUNs have changed my perspective and helped me meet some of the most wonderful people, but also discover more about myself and the world around me.
I look forward to seeing this edition taking place and I can assure you that you will not forget it!🏙

Hi, my name is Ruxi Rusu! MUN has been a big part of my life for the last year or so. I have been both a delegate and a chairperson, and now I’m looking forward to being the Deputy Secretary-General of the upcoming edition of BacăuMUN. All of these experiences are similar, yet distinct in their own special way. Every position I held so far has taught me something new about MUNs, but most importantly, about myself. This community is very welcoming and friendly; here, I’ve met some of the most incredible friends and mentors. Right now, I cannot wait to see you all this November in Bacău. We hope to make this experience a fun and pleasurable one for everyone!🏙
