A Polar Night
Handmade wire wrapped jewelry and gifts in Anchorage, AK. Founded in and inspired by Alaska.
I haven't been able to go put these out for because my car is out of commission. I'm hoping to get them out in the world tomorrow, better later than never, right?

Some ocean doodles on black paper, in white pen.

Available handmade cabochons, part 1. I can make pieces with them, or they can be purchased as-is to make your own jewelry with!
Something very different than my usual. I made this cabochon from a plate, then used sterling silver wire to highlight the lines of the bridge and form a bail. I love custom orders and I have more handmade cabochons available to pick from!
Playing with earring designs in moose leather.
Latest custom piece, Kenworth Fordite and sterling silver. I love love love this piece of fordite, and I tried to follow the flow of the shapes in the paint.
I've wanted to do one of these for years, and I bought this one specifically to try wrapping. I wanted to wrap it in such a way that the serenity prayer was visible on the back.
Dyed purple fox fur earrings and bears. All are available, $25/pair. Message me to purchase π₯°

I've been asked a few times what kinds of materials I have in stock that are wrappable. I have all kinds of stuff, but the coolest pieces are the Fordite cabochons. These are Kenworth Fordite. I also have Jeepite and surfite.

The tinest forget-me-not painted on a cute glass teacup, for my significant other. The paints I use are technically dishwasher safe but I recommend hand washing for best results. This cup is proof it should be okay, because even with my hard water, it's done fine with a couple of accidental runs in the dishwasher.
My glasswork is officially available at inside the Captain Cook in downtown Anchorage! Go check it out, they carry lots of wonderful handmade items!

Custom gift progress shot. I'm making these for my niece. My stepmother, her grandmother, loved lighthouses and they remind our family of her. I actually love how these are turning out.

Salmonberry stemware glass. I love painting salmonberries, they are made of a lot more colors than you would expect and they're fun to layer and give depth to. The photo doesn't do the light play on these justice, they're so pretty.
Good morning! My household is recovering from COVID, I haven't left the house most of this week and I'm starting to feel it. Hoping to be better by Monday. π€ I also started my classes, a full course load while working full time, it's been a crazy week, but I trust my ability to handle anything life throws at me.
I have a ton of glassware I got before I got sick that I'm planning to paint, and I'm looking for retail opportunities in town where I can share that work. I'm also going to be working on some hand-painted glass jewelry too that I'm very excited about. If anyone knows or is a shop owner in or near Anchorage/Palmer/Wasilla interested in carrying hand painted glassware, please get in touch, I'd love to chat about consignment or wholesale. π
