Very exited to be playing at the Bradford Roots Music Festival in January! It’s a wonderful festival celebrating its tenth anniversary this year. If We Make It Through December - Here's one for anyone who finds December a bit much and can't wait for the new year. It's a lovely song by Merle Haggard, beautifully covered last year by Phoebe Bridgers. In a very county music way, the original has two extra beats between some of the lines. It's part of why I love the song but at the same time I felt more natural not doing that. The chords I use may deviate from his version as well - I've made it my own lets say, I think that makes a cover much more interesting! Enjoy x
