May all the glory be to God for allowing us to make it to another week of the Great Lent fast (Abiy Tsome). This week we learn about Nicodemus who was a ruler of the Jews by day and a student of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ by night. As we read the gospel for this week, John 3, we not only learn the importance of Baptism and eternal life but also what it means to dedicate time to learn about the things we do not understand.

May God give us the same dedication to learn His word like Nicodemus!

May all the glory be to God for allowing us to make it to another week of the Great Lent fast (Abiy Tsome). We are halfway through the fast! This week is called Debre Zeit which translates to Mount of Olives which teaches about the second coming of the Son of Man and the signs of the end of times (Matthew 24).

We are halfway through the week of Kidest (Holy), may all the glory be to God. As a reminder, the fast is not only about abstaining from food but ensure all members of our bodies are fasting.
