Sarge lives with another dog, and when a third dog was added to the mix (actually, Sarge’s mom, Lola) Sarge did not like it when the first dog was hu***ng Lola and this led to a fight between them. Sarge is confused about why he isn’t at home anymore and he is sad. He is currently in boarding and will probably shut down- dynamics between dogs can be tricky. Sarge was doing what he thought was right. Sarge was protecting another dog. #rescuedogsofinstagram #longislandrescuedogs #furbabiesrescueandreferral sarge is big and awesome and needs a foster. Friends this is URGENT!! We need a foster or forever home for Sarge (Lola's pup) born 4/22/21. He's a big boy (approx 90 lbs). He and Lola were returned tonight due to 2 fights. There was a third dog in their home and Sarge didn't like when he tried hu***ng Lola (he IS neutered). Best guess right now is that Sarge will need to be placed with only female or submissive males. (It would be lovely to see him placed with his mom Lola but we know that's a tall order). As you all know FBRR has been struggling for a while and there are only so many dogs I can watch at one time.... Sarge is neutered and vaccinated. He is super sweet, used to sleeping in bed at night and cuddling on the couch. House broken too!

We always need money and we try to always be transparent about where it goes. Vet bills are expensive, meds are expensive, food costs money, etc. Any dollar you give us goes directly to the animals - we are 100% volunteer. We appreciate your help always.

Titan is a sweet boy! He’s about 9 months old, UTD on vaccines and neutered. He is good with kids and doesn’t seem to mind the cats in the hospital. He is extremely shy at first but once he gets comfortable he’s a total love bug. Walks great on the leash but is fearful of noises outside so he needs some work! He has been showing some food aggression lately that the vets office is working on with him. He gets walked with a malinois and he’s good with him not sure about other dogs so meet and greets are a must!

Meet Wesley! This gorgeous black beauty is an absolute heartbreaker! He is so naturally sweet-natured, his pure innocence will melt even the toughest of hearts! Just a few minutes with this loverboy and you'll see he wants nothing more than a faithful family who will love him as much as he will love you in return!

This baby boy will honestly work in just about any family dynamic, but is currently living with a family of 4 that always has a lot of action.

The true test came on Halloween when a bunch of spunky tweens dressed in wild Halloween costumes gathered in the family room, and Wes was quick to join in with the fun! Whether it was him resting peacefully on the couch besides the party goers, or jumping into the laps of all his new friends, Wes just HAD to be part of the fun. No FOMO for this little dude!
