Recently fished an event on Dale Hollow for the first time in my new Hobie PA12 360. No prefish. And I landed the 19.75” Smallmouth. This was my FIRST Smallie. What an awesome fight 🎣

The championship is a wrap. Even though I was able to figure out a pattern in practice, I wasn’t able to qualify for day two to get into the money. But I had a blast and was able to fulfill a life long dream. It was great to meet all the other anglers from around the country and talk shop. I look forward to trying it again next year.
